Details : Ukraine's access to Starlink was the first issue mentioned among the topics discussed by the two leaders.

" The Prime Minister underlined the importance for Ukraine to have full access to Starlink so they can continue to defend themselves against Russia's full-scale invasion ," the statement said.

Burnham also praised President Trump's efforts to bring Putin to the negotiating table, and the leaders agreed to work together with international partners to bring an end to the bloodshed.

Background : Trump, when discussing his conversation with Burnham, did not mention Ukraine. The previous day, US President Donald Trump said that he would speak to SpaceX owner Elon Musk if Ukraine was experiencing problems with Starlink connectivity. The Wall Street Journal reported on 22 October that Trump had called Musk and asked him to lift the restrictions . Trump himself declined to say whether he was the one who had called the SpaceX owner.
