बंगाल की खाड़ी में उठे चक्रवाती तूफान अर्नब का असर दिखना शुरू हो गया है. भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने सोमवार (26 अक्टूबर) को कई राज्यों में भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है. दक्षिण भारत के तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश, ओडिशा और केरलम में अलर्ट जारी किया गया है. दूसरी ओर उत्तर भारत में फिलहाल गुलाबी ठंड ने दस्तक दे दी है.
पहाड़ों में हो रही बर्फबारी का असर मैदानी इलाकों दिल्ली, यूपी, बिहार, राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश में दिखने लगा है. मौसम विभाग ने उत्तराखंड, हिमाचल प्रदेश और जम्मू-कश्मीर में बर्फबारी का अलर्ट जारी किया है. बंगाल की खाड़ी में बना गहरा दबाव अब साइक्लोन अर्नब में बदल चुका है. इसका सीधा असर ओडिशा और आंध्र प्रदेश के तटीय इलाकों में दिखना शुरू हो गया है.
ओडिशा में हाई अलर्ट
चक्रवाती तूफान अर्नब को लेकर ओडिशा के सेंट्रल रेंज के 7 जिलों में हाई अलर्ट जारी किया गया है. पुलिस प्रशासन को सतर्क रहने और किसी भी आपात स्थिति से निपटने के लिए तैयार रहने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं. सेंट्रल रेंज के आईजीपी सत्यजीत नायक और बिस्वनाथ दाश ने इस संबंध में जानकारी दी है. चक्रवात से जुड़े हालात पर नजर रखी जा रही है. अर्नब को देखते हुए ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल और आंध्र प्रदेश में NDRF और SDRF की टीमों को तैनात किया गया है.

अर्नब का सीधा असर दक्षिण भारत में दिख रहा है. IMD ने तमिलनाडु, केरलम और कर्नाटक में गरज-चमक के साथ भारी बारिश और बिजली गिरने की चेतावनी जारी की है. कोलकाता समेत बंगाल के कई जिलों में आज दोपहर बाद से भारी बारिश और तेज हवाओं का दौर शुरू होने की आशंका है. मौसम विभाग ने भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी किया है. तूफान अर्नब का असर 26-29 अक्टूबर तक देखने को मिल सकता है.
बारिश का रेड अलर्ट
मौसम विभाग ने तमिलनाडु, केरलम, पुडुचेरी, कर्नाटक और आंध्र प्रदेश में भारी बारिश का रेड अलर्ट जारी किया है तो वहीं छत्तीसगढ़, तेलंगाना, ओडिशा, पश्चिम बंगाल में ऑरेंज अलर्ट जारी किया गया है.
