Quote: "Legally, we have not received an invitation, but there have been certain signals from various negotiators.

Specifically, there was talk that President Trump might invite us to the G 20 summit and possibly put forward an initiative aimed at ending the war. Of course, if Trump officially invites us, we will support it."

Background: The US invited Russian leader Vladimir Putin to the G 20 summit in Miami in December, where he could meet with Trump. It was reported that Putin rejected a proposal from Zelenskyy to hold talks on ending the war on the sidelines of the G 20 summit. Trump himself said that he does not know whether Putin would agree to a trilateral meeting with Zelenskyy in Miami. On 31 October, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggested that Washington may invite Zelenskyy to the G 20 leaders' summit in December, particularly if his attendance could produce positive results. On 1 November, Trump did not rule out inviting Zelenskyy to the G 20 summit in Miami.
