Quote: "Another achievement of our engineering ingenuity is an underground tunnel nearly six kilometres long which has been constructed between two settlements in Donetsk Oblast. The engineering structure ensures the uninterrupted and concealed movement of personnel, motorised vehicles and quad bikes, as well as the delivery of provisions and ammunition, and medical evacuation. All of this enables various units to successfully carry out their combat missions."
Details: Pishko said that thanks to another solution devised by military engineers in 2023, the 81 st Slobozhanska Airmobile Brigade used an amphibious transport vehicle throughout the entire winter to conduct medical evacuations.
Quote: "The road bridge towards Lyman in Donetsk Oblast had been blown up, and the detour took a long time. Instead, using a PTS-2 amphibious transport vehicle saved us 30-40 minutes, which makes a huge difference for the wounded. The team made 86 trips in this manner over that winter."
