Quote: "We are gradually restoring the Air Alarm app following the cyberattack. At present, the map displays information about yellow and red threat levels (drone threats and large-scale drone or missile attacks respectively). Push notifications about air-raid warnings are also working. The display of aerial assets on the map has been temporarily suspended."

Details: The developers said they are implementing additional security measures to protect the app and prevent similar incidents in the future.

The team also reiterated that the app does not store or use personal data, so users are not at risk.

Background: On the evening of 1 November, the official Air Alarm app was hacked . Its notifications warned of radiation and chemical hazards, street fighting and a supposed threat from the Russian Oreshnik missile, with the messages displayed in Russian. The app's team later confirmed the cyberattack and announced that the service had been temporarily suspended.
