Part of getting out in nature is witnessing some nature. A group of people in Redwood National Park had a front row seat to some nature when a couple of bucks smashing antlers came tumbling down the side of a hill.
The hikers were "just exploring the Redwood forest" when the nature arrived. After sliding across the boardwalk, the two deer resumed their battle just a few feet away from the group, who, let's be honest, were way too close for comfort.
The deer tossed each other around the woods a little, you know classic rutting season behavior , before launching each other over the side of another small hill. The commentary on this now-viral battle is amazing.

The only thing better than the up-close and personal battle, and the play-by-play that accompanied it, is the comment section on the Instagram post .
Here we are being sucked back in by technology while trying to enjoy nature. It just goes to show you that not all technology is bad.
A place where you can weigh in with thoughts like "Shoulda started taking bets on the trail. Missed opportunity" still has some value.
