A mother of two known only as Anna was killed in Russia's attack on Kremenchuk on 29 October. Anna did not have time to reach a safe place before the attack, but she shielded her daughter Kseniia and son Yehor with her body.

Anna's funeral will take place at 14: 00 on 31 October at the cemetery on Shevchenka Street in the village of Pohreby.
Background : On 29 October, the Russians struck an apartment building in Kremenchuk with a drone. Cars and an outbuilding also caught fire at the scene. Three people were killed in the attack and another 32 local residents were injured, including six children. Nine of the injured were taken to hospital, where a 16-year-old boy and a 72-year-old man are in a serious condition.
