By contrast, the enemy used the humanitarian pause to reinforce its positions. During the ceasefire, Russian units were observed rotating, positions were being strengthened, anti-drone measures along roads were expanded and logistics capacity was scaled up, including the delivery of ammunition."

Details: The General Staff also stressed that, thanks to the observance of the ceasefire during the humanitarian operation, aid supplies were delivered to their intended destination and Ukrainian citizens who had expressed a wish to leave Oleshky had returned to territory under Ukrainian control.

Background: Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine's Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, announced that a ceasefire would come into effect at 03: 00 on 27 October in the Oleshky area.
