Details: Due to these and earlier attacks, some regions of Ukraine are experiencing rolling blackouts to balance the power grid and ensure its stable operation.

The Ministry of Energy urges people to check updates from their regional electricity distribution operators for the latest blackout schedules and any changes to electricity supply.

Ukrenergo reported that electricity consumption on Monday morning was 1. 6% lower than on Friday 30 October due to restrictions imposed following Russian attacks.

The electricity transmission operator advises people to limit the use of high-power appliances during peak hours (16: 00-22: 00) to avoid overloading the power grid and prevent breakdowns.

Background: During the week of 26 October to 1 November, Russia deliberately attacked the Ukrainian energy and oil and gas sectors 94 times. On 2 November, emergency power outages are being applied in some regions of Ukraine, with the most difficult power supply situation remaining in Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
