Russian forces destroyed Kramatorsk City Council's executive committee building in an airstrike late on 31 October.
Source: Oleksandr Honcharenko, Head of Kramatorsk City Military Administration, on Facebook
Quote: "An hour ago, Russia destroyed a central symbol of Ukrainian statehood in Kramatorsk in an airstrike."
Details: Honcharenko said the building had survived the 2014 occupation, the assaults on the city and its liberation.
Quote: "This place embodied the history, spirit of engineering, revolution, the life of the city and its plans. It was the foundation of Ukrainian Kramatorsk. They can destroy a building, burn our land and steal our memories. But they cannot destroy our right to a future."
