Sadly, a customer was injured in the attack, sustaining shrapnel wounds. He is currently in hospital receiving all the necessary medical care."

Details: Ukrnafta reported damage to the main building and equipment.

The company is assessing the extent of the damage to determine whether the station can continue operating. Police are also working at the scene.

Background: Russian forces previously attacked an Ukrnafta petrol station in Khmelnytskyi Oblast , lightly injuring an employee. In early October, the Russians attacked an Ukrnafta petrol station in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast twice , with no casualties reported. Ukrnafta is installing sand-filled protective barriers at its petrol stations in Kyiv and says it has secured enough fuel for the winter, even if demand rises by 10-15%.
