Hurricanes superfan Abella Danger acknowledges Miami frat sweetheart run prior to season

The U was stacked last season. They had talent everywhere, from a quarterback drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft to frat sweethearts in the form of an A-list actress and a retired adult film star.

No wonder the Hurricanes made a run at the National Championship. A veteran quarterback makes navigating the playoffs a little easier, as does the backing of a superfan like Abella Danger.

Although, she wasn't there for the spotlight . She showed up week in and week out to support the University of Miami and its football team just like any other student in attendance. Superfan wasn't her only title.

As I mentioned above, she was named a frat sweetheart. It's an honor she'll always hold close to her heart. Abella took a moment before the season kicked off to acknowledge her reign as Pi Kappa Alpha’s 2025-26 Sweetheart.

"The honor of being @umiamipikes Sweetheart will be something I will always hold so near and dear to my heart. Seeing these men grow into amazing contributing members of society through their brotherhood has been absolutely incredible🥹💚🧡," she wrote .

"shout out to @alex 3 ngg because I surely wouldn’t have become Sweetheart without him pitching it to the brothers while he was still pledging😂💝."

COLLEGE FOOTBALL’S AP TOP 25 IS OUT: WHO’S OVERRATED, UNDERRATED AND FLAT-OUT SNUBBED?

Alex, whom Abella gives a shout-out to in her post, responded in the comments by crowning her the best to ever do it. He wrote, "Through it all ♥️♥️♥️ best sweetheart of all time."

A touching thank you for your service, Miss Danger, if I've ever seen one. Credit to him for pitching her as the sweetheart to his brothers and credit to Abella Danger for accepting.

Recapturing the magic of last year isn’t going to be easy for Miami. A lot of things had to line up for that playoff run.

Whatever ups and downs the Hurricanes face this season, I have a feeling Abella is going to be along for the ride. Miami enters the season ranked No. 7 in the country .
