Government truck inspections decline plummeting in many states

Government roadside inspections of commercial trucks are declining. With that in mind, a CBS News investigation found more than 2, 000 people have been killed since 2019 in accidents involving licensed trucking companies that had no roadside inspection on record before the crash.
