The Florida State football program is sending a clear message to one of its top recruits after he was arrested earlier this week.
Chuck Kennon, the program's top-ranked recruit of this year's class, is no longer with the team after being arrested on charges of two felonies.
Officers said Kennon was traveling 79 mph in a 50-mph zone in Tampa early Sunday morning, according to UPI , and when officers approached the vehicle, they suddenly found themselves in a chase at speeds over 150 mph.

Kennon's Dodge Durango got a flat tire, which led to Kennon attempting to flee on foot and into an industrial plant. While searching for Kennon, police found his phone and a woman in a bodysuit "covered in dirt stains, blood and grass" with lacerations on her arm. She told officers she asked Kennon to exit the vehicle more than 10 times and was detained.
Kennon, who is currently being held in Falkenburg Road Jail, was released from the program due to conduct detrimental to the team, the school said.
