It is hard to believe, but after this week, the NFL season will be a third of the way completed. Week 6 kicks off with the Broncos and Seahawks playing on Thursday Night Football. Fanatics wants you to get in on the game with promo code FOXNEWS 350 , where you wager $20 and earn $350 in FanCash.
It can often be hard to remember the loser of a Super Bowl, but last year’s was the New England Patriots. In order to even get to the game, they had to beat someone in the AFC Championship. That someone was the Denver Broncos, who played the game without starting quarterback Bo Nix.
Nix led his team to an impressive record last season, and the Broncos' defense did the rest of the work. They earned the #1 overall seed in the AFC, and they hosted the playoffs. In the course of beating the Bills in overtime, Nix suffered an injury, and he didn’t play against New England. The Patriots moved on to face the Seahawks.
The Super Bowl was a bit of a bust last year. The game was pretty boring overall, and the Seahawks looked like the significantly better team. It led a lot of people to wonder what would happen if these two teams had played instead of the Patriots and Seahawks.
Tonight we get to see what would happen. Sure, the teams are a bit different. Kenneth Walker III, the Super Bowl MVP, is gone from the team and is on the Broncos' rival Chiefs. Jaylen Waddle is now on the roster for Denver, and both quarterbacks are healthy. Perhaps this will bring us the game that everyone was hoping for in February.
Will Sam Darnold once again lead his team to victory? Will the Broncos and Nix find a way to make people wonder what would’ve happened if they made it to the Super Bowl?
