A truck driver on a Utah freeway narrowly missed being struck by lightning amid severe weather earlier this week.
Video of the incident appears to show the moment a lightning strike hit Interstate 84, near the mouth of Weber Canyon, just feet away from a moving truck on Tuesday night, ABC 4. com reported.
Motorist Tucker Ralphs captured the video on his dashcam as he was commuting home.

"Lightning struck the edge of the freeway feet from a truck just ahead of me," he told Storyful, adding that it was "louder than you can imagine, with a very sharp ‘crack’ and ‘boom.’ Super bright, then gone in an instant."
The National Weather Service confirmed to the news outlet that the area experienced a thunderstorm. Data from the agency showed that a lightning strike hit the side of the freeway at about 9 p. m. local time.
